East of Ammouliani lies the complex of islets known as Drenia, or Gaidouronisia (Donkey Islands). The complex is named after the largest islet, Drenia. The others, which are smaller, are named Feti, Penna, Artemis, and so on. In the past, only the residents of Ammouliani would go to the Drenia islet to celebrate Clean Monday. Today, it is a touristically organized destination with umbrellas, sunbeds, a tavern-café, and more. You can easily reach it by boat from Uranopolis, or you can rent a small boat to explore the islets and their beaches one by one.
