Press Release: Two-Day Event “Aristotle, Our Fellow Countryman and a Universal Figure”

On the occasion of the 2400th anniversary of Aristotle’s birth, UNESCO declared the year 2016 as the “ANNIVERSARY YEAR OF ARISTOTLE” following a proposal from the Greek National Commission for UNESCO.
The Municipality of Aristotle, the birthplace of the great Stagirite philosopher, inaugurating the events for the “Year of Aristotle,” invites you to the Two-Day Event organized under the title:

“Aristotle, Our Fellow Countryman and a Universal Figure.”

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 6 & 7, 2016, at the Ierissos Cultural Center, in accordance with the attached program.
